Price updates from April 15th 2023, English version below!

Wer die Philosophie und Arbeitsweise von ABACUS kennt, der kann sich vorstellen, dass das keine leichte Entscheidung war, aber die Entwicklung der letzten Monate macht sie unumgänglich. Auch ABACUS wird kurzfristig einige Produkte teils kräftig im Preis anheben müssen. Rohmaterial und elektronische Bauteile sind in den letzten Monaten zum einen immer noch schwer zu bekommen, zum anderen im Schnitt ca. 50% teurer geworden. Lange Zeit konnte das in vielen Bereichen noch abgefangen werden, mittlerweile wird es aber einfach zu viel.

ABACUS setzt weiterhin auf den Grundsatz, so viel wie möglich im eigenen Hause zu fertigen. Wo das nicht möglich ist (z. B. Gehäuse, Metallteile) so viel wie möglich in Deutschland oder dem umliegenden EU-Ausland zu realisieren und nur wenig in Fernost zu beziehen.

Alle Bestellungen, die noch bis einschließlich 14.4.2023 eingegangen und bezahlt sind, werden noch zum bisherigen Preis abgewickelt, unabhängig von deren Verfügbarkeit und Lieferzeit. Das gilt auch für alle ABACUS Händler und Vertriebspartner.

Betroffen von der Preisanpassung ab dem 15.4.2023 sind vor allem folgende Produkte:

C-Box 3: 990,- € pro Paar
C-Box 4: 1.290,- € pro Paar

Cortex 6: 1.990,- € pro Paar
Cortex 10: 2.290,- € pro Paar
Cortex 11W: 2.490,- € pro Paar

Those who know the philosophy and working methods of ABACUS can imagine that this was not an easy decision, but the developments of recent months make it unavoidable. Even ABACUS will have to raise prices for some of its products in the short term, partly significantly. Raw materials and electronic components have become increasingly difficult to obtain in recent months and have also become on average about 50% more expensive. For a long time, this could still be absorbed in many areas, but now it has simply become too much.

ABACUS continues to adhere to the principle of producing as much as possible in-house. Where this is not possible (e.g. cases, metal parts), they aim to source as much as possible from Germany or neighboring EU countries, and only a small amount from the Far East.

All orders received and paid for by March 31st, 2023 will still be processed at the current price, regardless of availability and delivery time. This also applies to all ABACUS dealers and distributors.
